The Winthrop Primary School Chinese Language Club was established in 1995. Its aim is to provide Year 1-7 students from all backgrounds with an insight into the Chinese culture and language(Mandarin) and is administered by a sub-committee of the school P&C.
Currently, free classes are running for Winthrop Primary School students. Classes are held after school in the ESL area of Block 1.
All children are welcome - no previous knowledge of the Chinese language is necessary. New students will be assessed and allocated the class appropriate to his or her Chinese language development. Classes are fun oriented.
