Winthrop Primary School ESL (English as a Second Language) unit provides a learning program for newly arrived students and students born in Australia with minimal English. The focus of the program is to assist students to develop language skills and socio-cultural understanding. Mrs Maureen O'Neill is our ESL teacher. We also have an education assistant Cheryl Blom, and an ethnic assistant, Lei Yi from China.
