With the assistance of P & C funding, the
Library has begun a 'parent collection' to be housed in our Teacher
Reference section. Currently there are 18 titles available (see
details below) to parents for borrowing. The loan period is 3
weeks and because we are just beginning, there is a maximum loan
of two titles at any one time. Please see Library Staff for further
details. Borrowing times are 8.30 - 8.50 a.m. Monday- Friday.

5. Help Your Child Succeed at School (Andrew Fuller)- 'user friendly' guide to help your child succeed.

ADHD - Recognition, Reality and Resolution (Geoffrey Kewley) - an overview of a very complex subject; focussing on the core features of ADHD, coexisting conditions & other common problems, the relationship between ADHD, intelligence & age, causes of ADHD and offers helpful suggestions - written by an Australian paediatrician.
7. Springboard to Learning Through Play (Kerrie Shanahan): a wealth of ideas on how parents can help their children from birth to 6 years.
8. I Had a Black Dog: an illuminating insight into what
it is like
to live with Black Dog; a phrase popularised by Winston Churchill
to describe bouts of depression he experienced for much of his
life.
