The Winthrop Primary School Library Resource Centre is the central resource for the students and staff of our school providing access to resources and facilities for all staff and students. The collection is developed, through school budgets and P&C funding, so as to support the school curriculum and priorities. Students are encouraged to independently use library facilities for both research resources and personal reading.

With the assistance of P&C funding, Our Library incorporates a Parent Collection, which is housed in the Teacher Reference section of our Library. The loan period is three weeks with a maximum loan of three titles at any one time.

Sharing a book with a child can open up a whole new world. When you share a book with a child, you create a special bond that can make children feel more valued. Parents are welcome to visit the library before school on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. You may like to share a story with your child. Your child's first and foremost teacher is you.
